Calling all Directors: How do you get your cast to motivated?

Well, this is my first time directing. I`m a novice stage director, and the people in my play sometimes beg to be excused to go and play. I do this at recess, but unfortunately I have to deal with social butterflies, which means they have a lot of things to do at recess. My mom let me take everyone to my house to practice with me. Plus, two of my cast members quit on me (the most social of the butterflies) and I got someone to fill in for one of them, but now I need someone to find another girl to join. I have some girls doing backstage work which really helps. Everyone is sure I have everything uder control, but I`m not sure that we`re going to be able to do this right on preformance day. We`re going to do it on the second week of December. I really need some tips fast, so please help me!
