Pex Couplings

Bushing and Couplings again.?
I guess I had better explain what I am trying to do here. I have a regular 1" copper 90* elbow and a 1/2" Pex tubing. I want to connect the two together. I need to know first of all if I need a pex fitting that has a male or female sweat end to it and then do I need a reducing bushing or a reducing coupler to put them together. My other scenario is to use 3/4" tubing in which case all would need to be the same only using 3/4" instead of 1/2".
Yeah, what honsell said. or you could put a stub of 1/2" copper out of the fitting, and use a shark bite fitting to connect the pex to. Have used them, and they seem to work well. Good luck!!
